Today I did the worst thing I could possibly do two days before taking the GRE...started a book I knew I couldn't put down. Yes, I'm re-reading Fire and Hemlock, the fantanstical masterpiece by Diana Wynne Jones. Amy, READ IT if you haven't. I'm only about 70 pages into it which means it will be a long time before I begin to study. To bad I still have to learn 500 words and oh, HOW TO DO MATH.
Good luck on the GRE Rachel! I have so, so many things I want to read but I keep putting off my reading! Anyways, my plan is to finish reading the LOTR trilogy (I have 1 and 1/3 books left). Then I am going to buy Fire and Hemlock along with Howl's Moving Castle. It has been awhile since I've read a good new-to-me book so I am psyched for it!...and then after that, I am reading the Twilight books...

ReplyDeleteI just searched under Images on Google for Fire and Hemlock and that came up...I wish it was bigger. I think it's someone's fan drawing of Tom and Polly!
ReplyDeleteAnd Amy, I can't wait to see what you think of Twilight =D We can write better, no doubt, but there's something to be said for their addictive nature. My favorite two were New Moon and Eclipse, because that's when the love triangle really gets amped up. Keep posting about all the books you read; I can't wait to hear what you think of them!
